On July 1st and 5th, 5 Youth from LP4Y Taguig had the chance to get to know better Ikea, among a 2 days company visit inside their biggest SEA store.
The first afternoon of training was dedicated to the Safety rules at Ikea, together with new employees currently receiving their on-boarding. An opportunity for the Youth to get fully immersed inside a real recruitment process and to understand the importance of safety inside the retail industry.
During the second day of training, the Youth could visit the whole store and each department, meeting employees before the opening of the store so that they had full time to exchange on their missions and functions. The Youth could also discover the culture of Ikea, receive general information on the recruitment process and learn about Ikea "value ambassadors".
