On May 26th several companies and NGOs had the opportunity to address the subject of “Economic recovery and Youth Inclusion” in India.
We had the pleasure to listen to the testimony of Sagupta Khatoon, a Youth from Life Project 4 Youth looking for an internship during these times of crisis, and Sujata Chatterjee, the founder of TWIRL.STORE. The speakers highlighted that, even if the pandemic has been a difficult period for the Youth and companies, the Youth need to keep increasing their learnings and the companies need to be involved in this personal / professional development.
These testimonies were followed by a discussion between the participants on their experience of Youth inclusion, and the impact of COVID-19 on this inclusion. Adaptation, new technologies, and resilience were at the core of the discussions.
Thanks to the participation of Accenture, BIC, Hyatt Regency Pune, LP4Y, Sohan Sales, The Laundry Bag™, Twirl and Veolia we had the opportunity to receive precious advice on the necessary skills needed by the Youth to find employment among which: good communication skills, good presentation, integrity , eagerness to learn, comfort with numbers …
Thank you again for your participation and looking forward to new and exciting activities with you!
