On February 24th, the second International Webinar of the Youth Inclusion Network was organized. 20 participants attended the event, including 17 companies.
Following the testimony of Cleo Fatima Eguia (Global HR Lead at CGI) on her experience of Youth inclusion inside her company, the participants were able to take part in a workshop on in which they discussed the added values for a team and corporate activity in hiring Youth from excluded background: a noticeable client satisfaction, benefits in CSR and all the interesting aspects associated with the integration of diversity inside a team.
As a second point, companies shared about their best practices regarding Youth inclusion inside the corporate world. Among many tips, it has been for instance noticed that, when appropriately guided, the Youth inside the companies stand out for impressive dedication and commitment, fast learning attitude with high progression rate.
During the workshops, several hiring successes were mentioned, as well as the organisation of mock interviews, testimonies, company visits and training.
The webinar was also the occasion to introduce the two new project managers of the YIN: Alexia Gaube and Claire-Marie Beyet.
