The United Nations have chosen 24 January to celebrate the International Day of Education, the role of education for peace and development.
The YIN believes that inclusive / equitable quality education and lifelong opportunities for all, are the essential elements, in order for countries to succeed in breaking the cycle of poverty that is leaving millions behind.
According to UNESCO:
> Today, 258 million children and youth still do not attend school;
> 617 million children and adolescents cannot read and do basic math;
> 4 million children and youth refugees are out of school…

With the 2022’s theme on “Changing Course, Transforming Education” it is time to address the needs for CHANGE to build more inclusive futures, for every Youth. It is time for A.C.T.I.O.N.S.
