How to Create a Mentorship Program for Excluded Youth

Updated: Jul 18, 2024

❓What criteria should I consider to choose mentors?

🌟What characteristics should mentees have or develop?

🤝How can I engage my employees in a meaningful program?

On June 20th, the YIN - Youth Inclusion Network had the privilege of hosting a workshop at the Youth Inclusion International Forum (YIIF) in Manila to address these crucial questions.

During our workshop, "Implementing Youth Mentorship Programs", participants explored each step of creating a mentorship program, learned impactful tips and techniques for coaching sessions, and discovered ways to make a meaningful difference—and they loved it!🎉

We loved it too. It was incredibly fulfilling to work together and we’re eager to organize more workshop sessions with our members.❤️

Bringing together all the key players in Youth inclusion in Manila, YIIF provided the perfect platform for us to share our expertise and empower others.🌍

A heartfelt thank you to Life Project 4 Youth (LP4Y) for organizing this fantastic event, and special thanks to Amélie BabinetAglaé de VilleneuveEnrica Agus Klümper, and Audrey Thomas for their unstoppable support.🙏

And, of course, a big thank you to the participants of our workshop for sharing their ideas, thoughts, and challenges. Your engagement made the session truly enriching.💬

Let’s continue to build inclusive futures together!🤝✨
