WHO ARE WE ?

The Youth Inclusion Network is a network of over 60 companies committed to reducing poverty and acting for the inclusion of Youth from underprivileged backgrounds. The YIN and its member companies work hand in hand, sharing and developing CSR programs, HR policies and business strategies toward this shared goal.

These generous member companies open their doors to excluded Youth, inviting them for site visits, trainings, mock interviews and more, all aimed at increasing their access to employment. At the same time, members come together to brainstorm on how to better prepare for and facilitate this inclusion, exchanging ideas and best practices that strengthen their collective impact against exclusion and poverty.

History: How it all began

In March 2016, the Youth Inclusion Network (YIN) was created at the initiative of Life Project for Youth (LP4Y). Following exchanges with several partner companies, a shared conviction emerged: by uniting for inclusion, companies could achieve far greater impact together. The more we work together, the more impact we generate and the more we can create innovative tools to reduce poverty through Youth inclusion.

The goal was to build a structured space where companies could:

  • collaborate

  • learn from each other

  • take concrete action for Youth inclusion

By working with companies, partners and any stakeholders that could help facilitating the inclusion of those Youths (ministries, Local Governments, universities, vocational schools and NGOs) we act as a catalyst which promotes, shares and supports all the initiatives for Youth Inclusion.

We like to emphasize that this initiative is not only social but also deeply linked to Human Resources. Hiring these Youth represents a real opportunity for companies, as they are highly motivated, hardworking and bring strong professional skills along with a positive attitude.

The YIN works alongside catalysts who help facilitate the inclusion of this Youth, such as LP4Y and other NGOs specialized in Youth inclusion. It also aims to collaborate with other institutions, including LGUs, vocational schools and universities, in order to broaden its knowledge and expertise while increasing its capacity to support even more Youth.
