March 2021: Mock Interviews by CGI and Bolloré Logistics
In March, team members of CGI and Bolloré Logistics dedicated time to give digital mock interviews to 24 LP4Y Youth.
Mock interviews represent an important, immersive and instructive exercise for both Youth and companies.
> For the Youth, this is the incredible opportunity to get an immersive interview exercise during which they can train, learn, become confident in themselves and get meaningful tips to show their potential the day they will apply for their dream job.
> For the companies, this is the perfect opportunity to involve all employees into CSR initiatives for a 30 minutes activity only. The team members truly appreciate these interactions as those are privileged moments with the Youth, when Youth and corporate members can share and learn from each other. During these mock interviews, each employee can give a little push to help the Youth to become who they want to be.

25th March 2021: H&M Virtual Company visit
On March 25th, our member H&M offered the opportunity to 148 Youths to get an immersive approach of H&M culture and stores through their second Virtual Exposure Day.
Youth from Life Project 4 Youth, Bahay Tuluyan Foundation Inc and Children of the Mekong joined an online session during which they visited all the departments of a store and heard testimonies from two Youth who had internships there. They also learnt from H&M team members on different topics such like: the values, history, identity and spirit of the company, the importance of sustainability and undertaken initiatives, marketing skills, store management and organisation, HR recruitment and onboarding processes as well as how the group is taking maximum consideration of their employees.
A warm thank you to Juan Paolo Tamayo, and all the H&M team for your commitment, energy and all these meaningful insights and inspirations that you transmitted to the Youth.
This event and associated success is a great example of H&M initiatives to have a positive impact on their surrounding community, and a concrete illustration of how our members, despite the current situation, keep acting for Youth inclusion.
10th March 2021: Company visit Offbeat CCU
On March 10th, 30 Youth from Life Project 4 Youth had the opportunity to visit Offbeat CCU. An important event, as Offbeat recently joined the YIN India, and as it was the first in-person YIN event taking place in India.
After an introduction on Y-East , an initiative of Techno India Group (YIN members) gathering organisations working on social and sustainability issues, the Youth discussed the notion of sustainable development in itself with Pauline Laravoire.
The presentation was followed by a visit of the building: co-working spaces, gym, restaurant… The Youth were particularly impressed by the organisation of the working spaces and the diversity of the activities taking place there.
For the Youth the most inspirational thing about Offbeat is the importance of entrepreneurship. Serving the society; Enjoying... An inspiration for several Youth who would like to become entrepreneurs one day!

11th February 2021: Company visit Cocina Mitho Chha
The first company visit occurred through the YIN Nepal.
28 Youth from LP4Y Kathmandu had the chance to visit the social enterprise Cocina Mitho Chha. Runned by Debendra Pokharel, YIN Nepal co-founder, this restaurant and Bed & Breakfast has been established with the purpose of educating the Youth in Nepal. They offer trainings programs in hospitality sector and language courses.
LP4Y Youth were very warmly welcomed by Cocina Mitho Chha staff and they discoverd how the company works, they listened to the Chef and students' experience, and they were also invited to taste the culinary creations. What an amazing day, thank you very much to Debendra Pokharel and all Cocina Mitho Chha staff!
October 2020: Digital Live Training with Capgemini
Capgemini team provided 2 trainings to the Youth on:
- “How to ace a job interview?”
- “How to create a professional resume?”
86 Youth from LP4Y, Enfants du Mékong and Bahay Tuluyan followed these sessions on Microsoft Teams and did practical exercises like writing a presentation speech or updating their resumes.

July - September 2020: Online Mock Interviews and COVID-19
Since July 2020, the YIN members have conducted more than 70 online mock interviews!
A warm thank you to the teams of IKEA, Tractebel Engie, Capgemini, Accenture, Decathlon, BBMS Properties and Mars Wrigley who interviewed the Youth from LP4Y, Virlanie, Bahay Tuluyan and Enfants du Mékong. A very good professional experience for the Youth to be fully ready for their future job interviews!
June: Remote Professional Training
Despite the quarantine the YIN member companies still act for Youth inclusion remotely. In June, 20 Youth had the opportunity to attend a video training about Sales and customer service recorded by Vianz Badoy who is Business Development Manager at Mars Wrigley.
Basic principles of selling, examples in professional life and exercises to train, the Youth were very focused! Thank you M. Badoy for these great videos.
February 2020: Company Visit
On 25th February, 44 Youth had the opportunity to visit Monchere Dormitory in Quiapo, Manila.
After discovering the types of position and the organisation and management of the company, they visited the different spaces of the dormitory to better understand how to keep it pleasant for all the residents.
Congratulations to Glecel D. who was hired in Monchere Dormitory 3 months ago, what inspiring story for the Youth!

Start of the year: Interviews and Recruitments
To kick off 2020, H&M Philippines conducted interviews with several Youth from Life Project 4 Youth - LP4Y and selected 3 of them for a 3 months immersion program in their store. What an amazing way to start the year!
November: "Sportingly yours"
Decathlon Philippines welcomed 15 Youth from LP4Y for a company visit. They had the chance to discover all the different products sell by Decathlon, to try them and to exchange with several employees. Thank you Decathlon!
October: Company visit and training with Heineken
On 26th October, Heineken welcomed 37 Youth for a very complete sales training.

October: Safviet training
Safviet provided a bakery training to 15 deaf and mute Youth in LP4Y North Saigon Center. They can now prepare amazing bread!
