Youth Inclusion Network
YIN Philippines Presentation
produced by Nic Lim
The Youth Inclusion Network has been created in March 2016 in the Philippines at the initiative of Life Project For Youth (LP4Y) Foundation.
Our members are organizing different activities along the year and in 2019 they reach out to more than 600 Young adults. They supported the Youth by organizing trainings, company visits, mock interviews and by employing them. Our 22 members are working with 6 different partners:
Our main objective is to make employable and employ youth victims of extreme poverty and exclusion : employment will give them a chance to be lifted out of poverty on the long run, but it will also benefit the entire families of these youth.
WHAT DO WE DO
In addition to the professional exposure activities organized along the year, we are brainstorming and sharing best practices about four topics :
The Advocate Youth Integration Committee, which advocate youth integration toward potential new member companies. It intends to raise awareness among the business world in order to integrate as much companies as possible.
The Facilitate Integration Committee, which ensures that youth integration programs during the recruitment process is in place among member companies such as, but not limited to, on-the-job training, job opportunities, and mentoring. It develops and shares best practices for Youth integration facilitation (especially for the companies).
